Spicy Pasta

2 tbsp olive oil
1 brown onion finely chopped
4 garlic gloves diced
1/2 - 1 tsp dry chilli flakes
140 grams tomato paste
5 tbsp heavy cream
30 grams grated parmesan cheese
Pasta of your choice



Heat olive oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat. Add in onion and garlic and mix together, then add in the chilli flakes and stir.

Once the onion starts to brown add in the tomato paste and reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 3-5 minutes or until it starts to darker.

Turn the heat off and whilst continuously stirring  add in the heavy cream. Once combined add in the parmesan cheese.

Cook your pasta in a large pot of salted water. Just before your pasta is completely cooked about 2-3 minutes off, add in a few tablespoons of the water into the sauce, strain the pasta and then let it continue cooking in the sauce for a few minutes or until its al dente. 

Serve with freshly grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
